The service. Coveboard is a creative canvas in your browser that generates images and video through third-party AI models, billed against a prepaid dollar balance. A subscription is required to generate and to edit boards; viewing a board someone shares with you is free. By making an account or using Coveboard you agree to these terms.

Who can use it. You must be 18 or older to make an account or to use Coveboard, including when someone shares a board with you. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it.

Subscriptions and trials. Plans bill monthly through Stripe, and the price is shown before you check out. New customers get a 7-day free trial with $1.50 of generations included; the card on file is charged when the trial converts, and the plan renews every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Manage billing; access continues through the paid period. One trial per customer.

Generation balance. Your plan grants a monthly dollar budget of generations at Coveboard's listed model prices, shown before every generation. At each billing cycle your plan budget is filled back up to your tier's amount rather than stacking on the previous cycle's remainder; separately purchased top-ups do not expire while your account is in good standing. Failed generations are automatically refunded to your balance. Balances are not redeemable for cash.

Refunds. Subscription payments and top-ups are not refundable, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong on our side, write to [email protected] and we will make it right.

Your work belongs to you. You own what you upload and, as far as the law allows, the outputs you generate, subject to the licenses of the underlying models. Each model has its own license and rules, and you agree to follow them. Be aware that copyright law may not protect material made entirely by AI; human creative input, such as your own selection, arrangement and editing, is what usually can be protected. You are responsible for what you prompt and how you use the results.

Permission to run the service. So that Coveboard can work, you give Cintrova LLC permission to store, copy, process and display your boards and files, to send them to the AI models you choose, and to show them to the people you share them with. This permission is only for running Coveboard for you. It ends when you delete the work, apart from the backup windows and legal holds described below.

We don't look at your boards. Your boards are private to you and the people you share them with. We don't browse them or review your files. The only exceptions: when the law requires it, when you ask us to for support, or when we are acting on a specific report about a specific item.

People and likenesses. If you reference a real person, including yourself, you represent that you have that person's consent and every right needed to create and use the result. Some models require identity verification before a real likeness can be used and provide a registration flow for it; where they do, use it. You may not upload or reference a person's face, voice, or likeness without their permission, and you may not use the service to impersonate, defame, sexualize without consent, or otherwise harm anyone. You are solely responsible for having these rights.

What's not allowed. You may not use Coveboard to make, upload, store or share:

• Anything sexual involving a minor, including drawn, animated or AI-made images. We report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and close the account, with no warning.
• Intimate or sexual images of a real person without their consent, including fakes made with AI.
• Pornography: explicit sexual content made to arouse. Nudity in art, fashion, figure study and film work is fine.
• Harassment, threats, hate aimed at a person or group, impersonation, scams or fraud.
• Work that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Anything illegal, or anything that breaks the rules of fal.ai or of the model you are using.
• Attempts to break into, overload, scrape or get around the limits of the service or other people's accounts.

If you break these rules we may remove the content, pause or close your account, and report to the authorities where the law requires it.

Reporting a problem. Anyone can report content on Coveboard at coveboard.com/report, with a link and a description. Every report gets a reference number. Reports of intimate images shared without consent are acted on within 48 hours.

Copyright. We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Send notices to our designated agent: Joshua Myers, Cintrova LLC, 1500 N Grant St, Ste C, Denver, CO 80203; 719-351-2379; [email protected]; or use the report form. A notice needs your signature, the work you say is infringed, a link to the material on Coveboard, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. If we remove your work and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent; we forward it to the person who complained, and restore the work in 10 to 14 business days unless they tell us they have gone to court. Repeat infringers: an account that receives three valid copyright notices is closed.

Your boards and files. Cloud boards and media are stored on our infrastructure and backed up several times a day. Deleting is real: deleted files and boards are destroyed after a 30-day restore window, and a deleted account is erased at once, with the backup copies of its files destroyed 72 hours later. Database backups expire after 14 days and a locked offsite copy after 30 days, so no copy of deleted work outlasts 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something, such as material we have reported to the authorities.

Suspending or closing accounts. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or fails to pay. Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to download your work.

No warranty. Model availability and pricing follow the upstream providers and can change. COVEBOARD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI output can be wrong, unexpected or similar to other people's work; check it before you rely on it.

Limit of liability. TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, CINTROVA LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Indemnity. You agree to cover Cintrova LLC against claims, losses and costs that come from your content, your use of Coveboard, or your breaking these terms, including claims about likenesses you supply.

Disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. If you have a problem, write to [email protected] first and we will try to sort it out. If we can't, disputes go to the state or federal courts in Denver, Colorado.

Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Questions: [email protected].
